December 5, 2011 – Ms. Farah Chandani, First Secretary (Development) and Ms. Wendy Zhao, Project Officer (Development), Canadian Embassy, Beijing visited the CP TING National Office for the first time to review project progress. Ms. Duan Guohui, National Project Coordinator and Mr. Charles Joyner, Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) provided an overview of project activities in 2011 from the national perspective. Ms. Guo Jia and Ms. Su Yanyan, Project Officers, presented CP TING activities and results in the six participating provinces (Anhui, Fujian, Jiangsu, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan). Ms. Chandani and Ms. Zhao found the presentations informative and appreciated the amount of the work completed in 2011.The meeting concluded with discussions on targeted technical support and guidance helping pilot provinces address their challenges and project progress to date followed by an outline of priorities for 2012.
